Bloom The Speyside Area Forum promoted "Undiscovered Speyside in Bloom" as a result of the postponement of The Moray Council & The Moray Federation of Village Halls and Associations Best Kept Village Competition.

The format was much simpler than the Best Kept Village competition. There were just two categories:
  • Communities
  • Junior
Judging was based on one criteria only - "Overall Impression".

Judging was "Chelsea Flower Show Style" with Bronze, Silver or Gold certificates awarded. Entrants were not in competition with each other - thus eliminating any advantage that larger communities or ones with Council or commercial planting may have had in the past.

Judging took place at the end of August and the final results are listed below:
